Specific Injuries Experience
As an independent Occupational Therapist and Case Manager, Carol commonly manages the ongoing care, support, equipment and housing needs of adult clients who have complex mental health disorders, acquired and traumatic brain injuries, and a range of orthopaedic injuries.
Carol also works with frail elderly clients who have age-related cognitive difficulties, dementia or CVA.
Carol’s special interest is mental health; she supports clients in hospital and community settings who have psychosis, anxiety, depression and eating disorders.

Carol qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1999 and has worked with clients with a wide range of complex needs in both hospital and community settings.
Carol has always had a special interest in mental health. Her role as an Approved Mental Health Professional involves carrying out assessments under the Mental Health Act and where appropriate making applications for compulsory detention in hospital. One of her previous roles was within statutory services as a Care
Co-ordinator in a Community Mental Health Team, where she supported people over the age of 65 living in their own homes with severe and enduring mental illnesses or dementia and additional or associated physical disability.
Carol now works as an independent Occupational Therapist and Case Manager for clients who have sustained a brain injury or have complex orthopaedic injuries, as well as clients with mental disorder or age-related cognitive difficulties.
Throughout her career Carol has gained an in-depth understanding of the impact of illness and disability on a person’s level of function and quality of life, which she aims to translate directly to the work she produces as a Care Expert. Since joining Jacqueline Webb & Co in 2012, Carol has attended numerous case conferences and participated in expert meetings. She has also completed Courtroom Skills Familiarisation.
